Abstract

It shows that the resulting and survival indicators for 2011-2016 year became lower that is indicative of the declining attractiveness of Russian regions for migration. Analysis of the migration educational structure showed that the contribution of migrants to the human capital increase has declined as compared to the 2000s. According to the statistical data for 2015, the share of migrants with higher education was 19.4%, and that of permanent population, according to the census data for 2010, was 23.4%. In 2006 the proportion was opposite: 19.8% for migrants, and 16.0% for permanent population. At the same time it was established that the educational level of Russian internal migrants is higher than that of immigrants.
