Аннотация
Рассматриваются некоторых характерные трудности, которые ведут к разрыву между теорией и практикой эмпирического исследования, причем не только в социологии – во всех научных дисциплинах. Принимается точка зрения, согласно которой природа научного метода и способы нашего восприятия и анализа мира накладывают весьма ощутимые ограничения, делающие полное устранение этого разрыва трудным, если не невозможным. Главным образом речь идет об ограничениях, действующих преимущественно в социальных науках в целом и в социологии в частности
