The main results of the implemented empirical project allow us to conclude that cognitive interest acts as the main motive for representatives of student youth to visit foreign countries. However, other significant motives were recorded, as well as aspects of life that interest young people, according to which they make a choice in favor of a particular state. The hierarchy of foreign countries that students would like to visit was also determined. Prospects of the study. The results of the study allow us to better understand one of the components of the migration potential of young people – the motivational reasons for choosing foreign countries to visit, including for potential employment, or final relocation.
