Abstract
The purpose of the study is the study of the role and influence of social collaboration in the creation and formation of the information environment.
The methodological basis of the research is a set of scientific works, devoted to the formation of social collaboration, on the interdependence theory by H. Kelley and J. Thibaut, on the theory of social and collaborative learning by L. Vygotsky, on the resource dependence theory by J. Pfeffer and J. Salancik, on the theory of substantiation of the collaborative and literary model by H. P. Grice, H. Clark, D. Wilkes-Gibbs and D. R. Olson.
Research results. The empirical evidence obtained during the study suggests that collaboration plays a key role in exchanging information, solving problems and achieving goals in the modern world. The interaction and collaboration of people with each other in the information environment, and not only, can improve the processes of communication, knowledge management and collaboration. Social collaboration in the digital and technological world is a new phenomenon that involves collaboration between people and organizations to achieve common goals and solve social problems. It is a form of partnership where resources and knowledge are combined to improve the quality of life of people and society as a whole.
The prospects of the study – identifying social collaboration as a form of the information environment will open up prospects for improving the dissemination of information, understanding the impact of technology, and solving problems and opportunities through effective communication and collaboration that facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information within and outside organizations, as well as between people.
