Abstract
Objective of the research The aim of the research is to study to ways of implementing patriotic education in the process of foreign language learning. The author compares patriotic education in the USA, Great Britain and Russia as well as the current attitude to the process. Different ideas concerning patriotic education in Russia are suggested.
The methodological basis of the research are observation, description and comparison, and systematic approach. The author offers the methods of integrating cultural and patriotic values into the process of foreign language teaching.
Results of the study. The results of the research. To receive a citizen and a true patriot is impossible without systematic approach. The researcher speaks about the importance of neutralizing the influence of foreign ideology and formation of patriotic feelings among Russian students.
Research рerspectives are related to the assignments aimed at teaching patriotism and creating better educational process in higher school.
