Abstract

Objective of the research is to consider the tasks of increasing the financial literacy of the population, as well as the models of financial behavior of the population of the Russian Federation. The methodological basis of the research was the analysis of the NAFI and FOM reports, which allowed us to identify recommendations for each of the population groups under consideration to improve their level of financial literacy. It is worth noting that the simple survey method has lost its relevance today. The study analyzed the financial literacy index in different years, and also defined specific values ​​that reflect the dynamics of changes in the financial literacy index, which allows us to interpret the results as accurately as possible. The social aspect of the scientific work is determined in the analysis of testing data for the population of the Russian Federation to determine knowledge in the field of financial literacy. Results of the study. Based on the results of the study, practical recommendations for improving the existing state strategy for increasing the financial literacy of the population of the Russian Federation were identified and designated. Also, schemes that are often used by fraudsters were considered and practical methods for dealing with them were determined. Prospects of the study the obtained results allow us to optimize the existing strategy for improving the financial literacy of the population.
