Abstract

Objective of the study is to present the current state of the higher education system in Russia to give recommendations for its improvement. The methodological basis of the research is a historical analysis and principles of empirical research. Research results. Description of the current state of the system of teaching humanities in higher education   Prospects of the study. Restructuring of teaching humanities in higher education in Russia.
