Abstract

Objective of the study. To determine the basic value meanings that make up the coordinate system of perception and interpretation of current events, which is characteristic of different generations, to highlight the features in the ideas of Russians about universal and civil values that determine the axiological component of the formation of state-civil identity and state-civil integration of Russian society in the context of new territoriality. The methodological basis of the research is determined by the main ideas of social constructivism, which explains the values and the process of identity formation as an act of arbitrary choice, approaches to the analysis of generations and the methodology for analyzing ideas and perceptions of values (universal, ethnocultural, civic). The empirical basis of the study was the results of a mass questionnaire survey conducted in 2024, the sample size in 3 regions was 2347 people aged 18 to 60 and older. Results of the study allowed us to identify generational features of the perception of universal and civil values, as well as the tendency to preserve ideas about the priority of traditional values along with pronounced semantic differences embedded in the interpretative schemes of perception of different generations. Value-semantic differences may indicate violations in the system of transferring values from generation to generation, determine the crisis of common foundations and integration strategies. Prospects of the study. The obtained results are relevant for the development of programs for the integration of various groups (age, regional, ethnic) in the context of the new territoriality of Russian society. Empirical data can be used for further analysis of the state of collective representations in socio-demographic, ethnocultural, regional and socio-economic aspects.
