Abstract
Objective of the study is to fix the trend in the system of production and distribution of artistic and gaming content in modern conditions of confrontation between Russia and the collective West and qualitative transformations of the system of media communication processes and media consumption in Russian society.
The methodological basis of the study includes the theoretical positions of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of media communication and socio-cultural trends in society, in particular, in the field of production and consumption of artistic and game content, as well as the peculiarities of the socio-cultural and media situation in the context of cultural and information expansion of the collective West in relation to Russian society.
The results of the study. They allow us to confirm the conservative turn in the content of the artistic and gaming content that has been outlined by 2020.
Prospects of the study are related to the public need and the actualization of the scientific analysis of the system of creation, distribution and consumption of media content containing traditional values, which increasingly determines the state of public consciousness and the socio-cultural development of modern Russian society.
