Abstract
Objective of the study is to determine the main aspects of the transformation of the state and society in terms of globalization and the emergence of multipolarity.
The methodological basis of the study. The research is based on an interdisciplinary approach, which includes an analysis of political, sociological, economic and legal aspects of the transformation of the statehood. It is also based on a systemic and comparative analysis of the study of the topic.
Results of the study. Recommendations for the states to strengthen regional cooperation, modernize public administration, and develop sustainable development strategies are presented. The conclusion is that there is a need for flexibility and a proactive approach in terms of global changes.
Prospects of the study are associated with the analysis of transformations of sovereignty and the changing role of non-state actors in geopolitics (nations, transnational corporations, regions, extraterritorial religious associations, online communities, etc.). The results of the study actualize the problems such as ecology, terrorism, famine or pandemics that require collective action by all the humanity.
