Abstract

The objective of the study is the mutual influence of current foreign socio-cultural practices and changes in the linguistic field of modern English that occur in this context at the intersection of personal and institutional discourses. Methodological basis of the study. Within the framework of the socio-cultural approach sociolinguistic, component and etymological analyses, linguistic observation and description are used.   Results of the study. The main current socio-cultural practices leading to the expansion of the linguistic field of modern English within the framework of basic topics are identified and systematized. The potential of the neologisms to be used at the intersection of personal and institutional discourses has been analyzed.   Prospects of the study. The study of the influence of current foreign socio-cultural practices on the replenishment of the language field with neologisms and fixing the points of personal and institutional discourse intersection allow us to expand the scope of such studies and identify directions for further research.
