Abstract

Objective of the study is to analyze the impact of an aggressive digital environment on young people and to develop tools that can minimize negative effects of this influence. The study is aimed at identifying the risks associated with the digital socialization of young people and developing proposals to improve their information security. Methodological basis of the study is based on a comprehensive approach, including the analysis of existing scientific works, statistical data and surveys conducted among Russian Internet users. Particular attention is paid to the sociological and psychological aspects of the influence of the digital environment, as well as to the methods of protection against the destructive content. Results of the study show that the digital environment generates significant risks to young people, such as cyberbullying, internet addiction and the spread of disinformation. It was found that women and young people under 24 are most vulnerable to these risks. The study also highlights the need to develop educational programs and to improve media literacy among young people for the effective protection against digital threats. Prospects of the study. Further research will focus on developing and implementing educational and legislative initiatives that promote digital literacy and information security among young people. It is planned to conduct an in-depth study of the impact of social networks on the social well-being of young people, as well as to develop strategies for more effective prevention and protection from the aggressive effects of the digital environment.
