Abstract
Objective of the study is to analyze at the present stage the mass nature of the influence of indifference in human thinking on the processes taking place in society and culture using the example of the Western world, as the most affected culture in the vector of the disintegration of the spiritual aspect of society from the indifferent attitude of the individual.
Methodological basis of the study: analysis and generalization of sources on the topic, which together with the dialectical method, allows us to identify the cause-and-effect relationships of the considered processes of indifferent relationships in society.
Results of the study. Liberalization of the essence of human relationships in society leads to an increase in the semantic civilizational freedoms of various groups of people. In turn, each group tries to exalt its freedom and prove its significance, which makes such people indifferent to the objective problems of society. The influence of indifferent Western policy not only on its own society, but also on the societies of «led» countries is determined, which confirms the mass character of this process in the modern world. The degree of change in a person's spiritual aspect towards the materialistic consumer good, which begins to prevail in him due to a long stay in the system of indifferent relations in society, is highlighted. In this direction, it is established that the culture of Western society has been annihilated so much that this process has caused class division, entailing the strengthening of egocentric ties to external relations, which leads human thinking to an increase in the significance of one's «I». The mass character of this process in Western societies around the world leads to a global imbalance, since each member of society is concerned about his private property interest and the significance of global world problems is annihilated, which today threatens the essential characteristics of a person.
Prospects of the study. It is advisable to build further research on this topic considering the influence of the indifferentism of the Western mentality on the culture of the Russian Federation.
