Abstract
Objective of the study is to analyze gamer activities in relation to the evolutionary transition to the state of «Homo Ludens».
Methodological basis of the study is built on the combination of J. Huizinga’s «Homo Ludens» concept and postmodern scientific paradigm.
Results of the study. As a result of the analysis, it is identified that gamers, besides being under the influence of growing technogenic nature, tend to simulate tribal forms of activities which is constructed by the narrative of the mass culture creation, that becomes the form of discourse for human being in postmodern era.
Prospects of the study consist in the further expansion of the understanding of tribal forms of gamer activity by deepening the narrative analysis of a particular creation of popular culture.
