Abstract

Objective of the study is to analyze trends in the development of higher education in the context of the technologization of society. Methodological basis of the study is based on transformational, communicative, and riskological approaches, as well as the tenets of the digital society concept. Research Results. The integration of modern digital technologies into higher education is a natural stage of its development in the information society. Like any sociocultural phenomenon, digital technologies are ambivalent in terms of the consequences of their application. They not only open up new opportunities that optimize the educational process but also call into question its humanizing component. A natural consequence of the technologization of education is its formalization and impersonality. Research Prospects. The problem of transforming higher education in the context of a digitalized society is of scientific and practical interest due to the need to understand future trends in its development.
