Abstract

Objective of the study is to identify the image of man based on the analysis of avant-garde artists' ideas, as well as to determine the image of man in non-classical anthropology, followed by a comparative analysis of these views and the identification of the causes of technological influence on the society. Methodological basis of the study is a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach that includes an analysis of the technological impact on humans, culture, and society. The work is written at the intersection of cultural philosophy, philosophical anthropology, social philosophy, and aesthetics. Based on a comparative analysis of the anthropological views of avant-garde artists and the ideas of representatives of synergistic anthropology, archae-avant-garde, and the concept of the "human of transition," the author defines the image of a human being and his position in the society. Results of the study. In the modern world, socio-technogenic development leads to human alienation in society, and there is a transformation of the image from a sociobiological to an avant-garde-technogenic one in culture. In the latter, the image of a human being transforms into a hybrid of a technoman with a loss of human identity. The views of avant-garde artists and representatives of non-classical anthropology on the issue of the formation of the image of a human being have similarities. The image of a person in their minds is imperfect; the authors focus on the person as an “ideological embodiment” and an “energetic substance” (Khoruzhij, 2005), a “dream world” where a person is a certain sum of events (Girenok, 2024).  Prospects of the study. The problem of modifying the human image through the introduction of technologies and cyborgization is of scientific interest, which largely determines the future of the biosocial human. Studying these aspects is necessary for further understanding of the development of society. According to the concept of S. A. Smirnov, the human image is presented as a "transitional" stage from postmodernism to a new phase of modern society. The key aspect is the transition as an element for human improvement. We note and add that in order to make this transition, a person must possess a kalokagatical essence (the unity of the spiritual and the physical). This renaissance element of the ancient period serves as a model for modern society in terms of creating a harmonious individual who can determine the path out of the "transition situation" to the next cultural stage.
