Abstract

In this article are given the main results of the activities of the scientific school headed by the author of the article. The article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of the regional Islamic culture with the methodological device of epistemology. In the article are revealed the aspects of correlation of cognitive culture and religious consciousness as the forms of public consciousness, and it is also revealed the epistemological es­sence of sufism philosophy. It is shown that the confession of sufist Islam fa­vours the cultivation by the people of the North Caucasus and the South of Russia the certain cognitive traditions, norms, ideals, methods, stereotypes of people’s creative activity.
