Abstract

The article deals with the problem of continuing education. On the basis of international documents, the author ana­lyzes the specificity of distance educa­tion. The features of the concept of life­long learning in the context of globaliza­tion and the search for identity. It is con­cluded that the implementation of con­tinuing education in the interests of the overwhelming majority of social groups and society as a whole, but its application must be based on the study of the inter­ests and expectations of key economic and social groups.
