Verbal nihilism in modern society

Abstract

The paper analyzes the specifics of con­temporary verbal nihilism. We study the history of the formation of nihilism in regard to the language in the Western European society. It is concluded that the attempts of the liberal-oriented philoso­phers expand the space of freedom and human society by getting rid of the power of the Word and words are unacceptable.
