Abstract

This article is devoted to the sustaining development of social resources in Rus­sia. It shows the new resources of self­forming Russian society and the factors that block the process of structural change. The authors investigate the com­ponents of sustaining development and give a sociological analysis of the Rus­sian elite, for self-reliant development is linked to the national intellectual elite that formed in the process of national development, economic growth and in the period of increasing innovative poten­tial of society.
