Conceptualization of sociological diagnosis: theoretical reflection

The paper reflects the author's research position, that the sociological diagnosis is social diagnosis, including analytical and explana­tory constructs of sociological knowledge. The author proceeds from the fact that the achievement of a sociological diagnosis with a high degree of verifiability of the results is possible in the implementation of the following two conditions: firstly, the choice of method of diagnosis, including the im­plementation of appropriate sociological paradigm, aimed at the production of objective knowledge: secondly, the adoption of the formula of efficiency of achieved results.
