Information control in Russia and in the world: the real basis and practice

Abstract
The article considers the real basis of the universal information control within the conditions of information space globalization. Its subjects are transnational corporations, which monopolize the information technology market. Total information control and electronic means of its implementation has enabled these corporations to "hack" the national telecommunication systems to meet their interests. In Russia, the expansion of commercial regulation of information communication is accompanied by strengthening of the state information control, though the new format of the content and transmission of information allow the information control to be developed "from masses".
