Abstract
The theoretical and practical features of sociological approach to the study of crises are revealed. The sanctions crisis, its specificity and measurability, typology of financial and economic crises, its intensity and breadth, and its influence on social practice are analyzed. The author clarifies the definition of "social risks", analyzes the types and intensity of the social risks of financial and economic crises, its content and influence on social reproduction.
