Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of everyday life and social well-being of the Rostov region inhabitants on the basis of conducted study. The study is based on the tools and methodology developed by the Institute of Sociology RAS. It allows to compare the data for the all-Russian and regional levels. The results interpretation provides understanding of the specifics of regional society, the knowledge about conditions and context for the Rostov region development. It brings the elements of scientific research and scientific novelty to the implemented project. The authors examine the region inhabitants' social wellbeing, their response to Western sanctions and protest potential in the dynamics of recent years.
