Abstract
The article is relevant due to the necessity to reconsider the socio-cultural orientations in formation of individual’s outlook. The aim of the article is to give the socio-philosophical justification of the possibilities of humanization in terms of the technocratic reality and mass culture. The author analyses the following socio-philosophical approaches and positions: to the study of cultural issues and a man in modern culture (L.N. Kogan, S.V. Lurie, M. Mead); to the understanding of the essence of the technogenic development of the society and the individual’s position in it (V.A. Kutyrev, E. Fromm, M. Heidegger). The author makes a distinction between the physical adaption to the environment and socio-cultural adaptation as the leading method of socialization of a person, in many ways laying the peculiarities of his outlook, values and positions. An important result of the study is the understanding of the specific of culturation in the development of modern human of culture. The author proposes a humanistic way of accounting the evolutionary essence of human nature in the technogenic civilization, primarily in education.
