Socio-demographic characteristics of life in modern state social policy (regional aspect)

Demography is a science about regularities of reproduction of the population in social and historical conditionality of this process. Demography elucidates and studies the consistent patterns of the reproduction of the population, regularity of change of its number, structure, territorial placement and state, and also the reasons of these changes. In the Russian Federation in recent years there was an adverse demographic situation that causes the need of development and implementation of prime measures aimed at the problem mitigation. In this regard the authors conducted a research which has allowed them on the basis of official statistics data to carry out an analysis of the demographic situation of certain region (on the example of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic) and to carry out a forecast of the situation development for the near-term outlook. The conclusion contais the offers on possible ways of the demographic problem solution in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
