Pharisaism as a form of distorted religiosity

Abstract
The article discusses various approaches to the study of the forms of religiosity and analyses these forms. Using the methodology of I.A. Ilyin it was justified why the Pharisaism refers to a form of distorted religiosity, its distinction from the authentic religiosity was shown. Other disciplinary approaches – sociology, history and religious psychology – allowed to describe the Pharisaism from different points of view on distorted religiosity and to determine its place among other forms of religiosity. The article shows the main features of Pharisaism as a form of distorted religiosity, its relationship with the phenomenon of religious fanaticism and its qualitative characteristics as personality accentuation
