Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of national policy objectives in terms of growth of tension in southern districts of Russia. It is shown that the North Caucasus remains the most complex and conflictogenic region of Russia. The necessity of the analysis of possible event scenarios in the South of Russia, modeling of possible risks and preparing a set of appropriate strategic decisions is noticed.
