Abstract
The article contains an attempt to analyse the process of appearance of the phenomenon of typology of personality in social and philosophical cognition. Comparative, phenomenological and dialectical methods are used both with the main principles of system approach.The aim of this work is to do social and philosophical investigation of formation of typological approach to the personality. The approaches of foreign authors (A. Adler, T. Adorno, Ph. Bopp, M. Weber, E. Kretschmer, Ch. Cooley, W. Thomas, Ch. Ferguson, E. Fromm, E. Spranger, C.G. Jung) and Russian sciences (A.G. Asmolov, A.A. Bodalev, B.S. Bratus, A.A. Derkach, Yu.D. Desheriyev, M.M. Gukhman, V.A. Koltsova, M.G. Yaroshevsky and others) to the issue of typology of personality are analyzed. Social and anthropological preconditions for forming of a particular type of are outlined. The dynamics of the genesis of typology of personality in different historical evolutional periods is shown. The author comes to the conclusion that the history of philosophy contains extensive data about substantial human features and attributes, dialectical interconnections and ways of expression in different spheres of social life. Currently social and philosophical discussion about the typology of personality needs theoretical background to meet modern social requests.
