Traditional and innovative in the problematic field of sociology: analytical review of dissertation research defended in the South of Russia in 2015-2016 years

The role of sociology and sociological expertise in modern world and particularly in Russia, increases every year in the light of high dynamics of social life. It forms high request, not only for training of highly professional academic staff, but also for the content of sociological knowledge, the adequacy of its problem field in rapidly changing reality. In this regard, the analysis of defended dissertations in sociology as an accumulation of the most urgent problems of Russian reality is of considerable interest. This article provides an analytical overview of dissertation research in sociology defended in the South Russian region in 2015-2016 years in order to identify innovative potential of sociological school of the South of Russia and its development trends in terms of existing system of certification of scientific personnel. The choice of dissertations defended in the South of Russia as a subject of analysis of problem field of sociological research is connected with the author's work (she represents Rostov school of sociology and is the scientific secretary in the Dissertation Council D 212.208.01 in Southern Federal University), and with the mission of "Humanists of the South of Russia" conceptually oriented on the updating and deep scientific expertise of the issues caused by the influence of regional factor on the life in Russia and, above all, in the South of the country, as well as the accumulation of scientific knowledge and experience gained during the research activities of scientists, scientific schools and centers in the South of Russia.
