Abstract
The article is devoted to possible social and cultural transformations of symbolic network generation in Russia related to further development of the latest high technologies, primarily information and communication technologies and the evolution of the Internet network. Based on the results of modern domestic and foreign research, the author identifies trends, typical for the network generation in modern society. It is emphasized that technological evolution occurs much faster than biological evolution. Various factors that influence this process (intellectual resources, human capital, social and geographical factors) are considered.
