Abstract

The world of modern family has many faces. Dynamic changes occur, various forms of family-marriage relations, various styles of family life and types of families appear and spread. But there has always been, exist and unfortunately, will continue to exist the type of family with disabled children, because in the society at each stage of its development children were born with various disabilities in health. In modern society, including Russia, the dynamics of births of such children has increased significantly, which is explained by many factors related to economic, environmental, medical, spiritual, moral, behavioral and other aspects of human life. At the same time, the conditions for the effective integration of such families and their children into social and cultural space of the society in Russia have not been created due not only to the fact of the state's removal from the problems of the family and children, from the effective social policy in general, but also the historically developed culture of "Closed" society for those who do not fit the social standards, including in the field of health. A family with disabled children remains alone with the problems, and the children become "outcasts".What do we know about the problems of families with disabled children? What do we know about its social and cultural world? And why is it important for the society to know about it? The authors of the article try to give their answers to these questions.
