Abstract
The article analyzes power, which is viewed through the prism of its functioning in the structure of anthropological reality. Power relations are predominantly indirect, i.e., they are constituted under conditions of permanent reproduction and transformation of human culture. The specificity of the concentration of power is demonstrated in connection with the growth of the instrumental domination of Homo sapiens over natural impulses, including one's own corporeality and sexuality. It is concluded that the eccentricity inherent in the human species qualitatively extends its ability to rule over natural objects and other people through reflexive control and abstraction from the situation.
