Abstract
In the article, the main ideas of the interdisciplinary theory of the firm based on the research and systematization of the development of interdisciplinary social and humanitarian studies are formulated in relation to the conditions of the domestic economy and the possibilities of involving theory in the problems of the activities of domestic universities are discussed. The prospects for expanding the interdisciplinarity in connection with the digitalization of economic and social interactions are considered. The cyclical nature of the structuring and restructuring of cognitive space is emphasized.
