Abstract
The problems discussed in this article are connected with the understanding of the possibility of overcoming the interdisciplinary barriers that have developed in classical science in the form of education sciences. The prerequisites of the process of formation of knowledge about education as systematically organized and integrally reflecting nature of education, which are simultaneously manifested as the value, system, process and result are analyzed. The types of interdisciplinary interaction that are capable of solving such a problem are studied. A meaningful concept of the science of education is proposed as one of the possible variants of its solution.
