Abstract
The article outlines the problems of ensuring the economic sustainability of industrial enterprises in the Rostov region as part of the Southern Federal District and gives recommendations on the use of foresight research in this direction in order to increase the economic stability of the region's enterprises. A model for managing the strategic development of enterprises has been developed, which contributes to their further effective operation.
