Abstract
The author studies the challenges posed by globalization to the Russian youth. Various approaches to understanding the concept of globalization by Western European and domestic specialists are analyzed. In the article the author refers to the data of the Foundation "Public Opinion" and the results of group sociological research and in-depth interviewing of students of Moscow universities. The author comes to the conclusion that it is possible to overcome the challenges of globalization by educating a new generation capable of cooperating based on universal human values.
