Abstract

The article is dedicated to the concept “culture entelechy”, which is investigated on the material of the discussion about the dialogue between antique and Russian cultures. The phenomenon of an entelechy can be attributed to the fundamental philosophical concepts that realize the deep processes happening in culture. Considering certain periods of cultural history, a form of public consciousness, trends in art, science, spiritual and production of goods in Russian and antique cultures, it is possible to see the relation to the unity between mentioned elements. This unity is implemented in acts of an entelechy. This fact makes it possible to implement various research projects related to the Greek-Russian relations, the historical fate of the dialogue between Greek and Russian peoples.
