Abstract
The article examined the specificity of the Marx's method of the analysis of consciousness, reveals the meaning of the concept "objective and thought forms" introduced by him. The author demonstrates how and why public consciousness becomes the "prerequisite" for the socio-economic systems functioning; the true meaning of Marx’s dialectic of being and consciousness is explained. The relevance of Marx’s method of the analysis of consciousness, for understanding the mechanisms of the launch of color revolutions in particular is justified.
