Abstract
The article deals with the mission of the universities of Crimea in the implementation of the program of socio-cultural integration of the region. A special place is given to the analysis of the role of social and humanitarian knowledge and education for solving integration problems. The need for training in the Crimean Federal District of professional sociologists and the implementation of educational programs in sociology in V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University.
