Abstract

The article develops particular methodological tools aimed at the study of legal awareness within various social groups. It also provides verification of the above-mentioned methodology by revealing the universality content of legal notions, treatment and expectations within the stratified society of Russia. The main point of the article lies in the idea that Russian society tends to be relatively unified in terms of estimation of legal order as well as legal expectations concerning the operation of political and legal institutions due to the fact that the stability of modified common notions in legal sphere for all social groups is defined by historical and cultural context of their formation. Correspondingly, the efficiency of legal regulation depends on positive integrated common notions which enhance the responsiveness of legal system.
