Abstract

The author of the article aims to identify the nature and vector of innovation policy of social management in the Russian regions. Based on the presentation of empirical material, it is concluded that the innovation policy in the priorities of the subjects of social management in the regions is perceived as an initiative from the top and has the attractiveness associated with the resources of financing, prestige, influence and reproduction of their own positions of power.
