The Intentions of Archaization in the Official Ideological Discourse and Political Rhetoric

Abstract

The article examines the formation and developing of the archaization tendencies in the official ideological discourse and official rhetoric. It is noted that the intentions of archaization are manifested in the fact that political rhetoric and official ideological discourse emphasize the need of the heroization of the past, the apologetics on the Soviet times, negative attitude to political freedom, the distortion of familiar concepts, including the greatest transformations of the concept of “democracy”.
