Abstract

The article deals with modern features of the popularization of science associated with the development of new means of communication and the possibilities of interaction between scientists of the 21st century and the intended target audience.The crisis of science connected with the collapse of the USSR is a series of social and economic consequences that are still apparent. What was the crisis, how it manifests itself now? Why do scientists independently create communities for communication regardless of the state, how do they promote their activities? This article is devoted to the answers to these questions.
