Abstract
The purpose of the article is to analyze the prospects for the development of the charitable activities of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate), as well as the experience of the social partnership of the Church and Russian non-profit organizations in charity. The genesis of church charity in Russia and the modern innovation of its practices are studied. The participation of Russian non-profit organizations in charitable activities is analyzed, and prospects for the development of cooperation between the Church and non-profit organizations are considered.The theoretical and methodological basis of the study consists of the principles of systemic and structural-functional analysis. In conclusion, the author shows that the expansion and innovation of church charity practices with the participation of patriotically oriented non-profit organizations will objectively contribute to the harmonization of social relations and the development of civil society in Russia.
