Russian Youth: to the History and Role in Modern Society

In the article the main levels of scientific analysis of youth are designated: determination of the set of initial socio-historical, theoretical and methodological principles that substantiate the position and role of youth in social reproduction; actually applied research, allowing to identify the state and dynamics of real consciousness and behavior of young people; comprehensive interpretation of the results of the study of the key problems of the youth's position and role  in modern society. The specific features of socialization and self-realization of youth, the place and role of young people in the economy of the future and etc. are studied.
