Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of forming a scientific discourse on environmental safety in the context of philosophical understanding of the problem of the relationship between man and nature. The author emphasizes that the scale of threats to mankind, connected with the current state of the biosphere, change the existing theories and force scientists to analyze the relationship between man and nature through the concept of “environmental safety”.
