Abstract

The question of correlation of the concept revelation (within the meaning of the Abrahamic religions) with the categories of experience in modern philosophy has been raised again due to the boundaries of not only linguistic expression, but also the translation from the language of experience into the language of orienting concepts. The article critically reviews some proposals of the leader of modern religious phenomenology Jean-Luc Marion, and demonstrates the opportunities for strengthening his arguments when referring to new Greek personalism. We prove the possibility of the philosophy of revelation as necessary part of both the philosophy of experience and the philosophy of language, proceeding from the «pragmatic turn» of modernity - from questions of form and content to the practical organization of narrative.
