Abstract
The article deals with the concept of archaization, how it has developed in the modern Russian philosophical discourse. It is concluded that the processes of archaization initiated by the authorities determine the appearance of a special type of personality, the consciousness of which has a mythological character. It is noted that the archaization appeals to the values of feudal society and is largely manifested in attempts to reproduce rudimentary mental programs in the public consciousness. Archaization is implemented in the framework of the project «conservative wave», neotraditionalism. The main factors of which are the inability of the government to solve current social problems through modernization and the willingness of society to delegate its right to solve social issues on its own behalf.
