Abstract

This article discusses different types of families as a source of reproduction of forms of social inequality. It is proved that the family influences the reproduction of four forms of social inequality: educational, economic, regional and gender. Education and economics are derived from the resource potential of the family, and regional and gender from its typological features. A comparison of the dependencies between resource, communicative and contextual variables in terms of the obtained values, showed that the leading role in the reproduction of social inequality belongs to the place of residence of the family.
Keywords:
